How To Setup 'Order Received' Or 'Order Ready' Notifications

Follow the below steps to enable a confirmation email/SMS to be sent to a customer after they order, or to let them know when their order is ready.

Step 1. From the back office, navigate to 'Chewzie Ordering', then 'Web App'.

Step 2. Switch to 'Detailed View', then scroll to 'Customer Notification'.

Step 3. Set the notifications you'd like your customers to receive by checking the tick boxes under 'Order Received Notifications' and 'Order Ready Notifications'. Checking both options means customers will receive both an SMS and email notification.

NOTES

  • The 'Subject' can be customised based on your preference.
  • Guest users will only receive the email or SMS notification when their valid contact information is available on the order.

Step 4. Click 'Save App'.
