How to create schedules

Schedules can be configured to control the availability of entities such as Mix and Match, Specials, Surcharges, Price Levels, Promos, and Store opening hours.

To create a new Schedule in the Chewzie Back Office, go to: Settings > Schedules and click "Add Schedule".

Schedules are reusable across a number of entities, so it is best to give it a meaningful name that represents the time period, e.g. Public Holidays, Happy Hour, Weekend, etc.

Active time periods are added by selecting "Add Period" under the "Active Periods" panel

In a simple case "Single Date" or "Date Range" could be selected.

Once the schedule is saved it can be referenced by other entities including Mix and Match, Specials, Surcharges, Price Levels, Promos, and Store opening hours. Once referenced, those entities will only be active during the time frame of the schedule.

 

Inactive periods can also be added in the same way to exclude certain periods from the schedule.
