Categories in the app can be displayed with or without images based on the configuration in the menu in Chewzie back office
To show category images in the category list in app menu,
1. Login to Chewzie back office, navigate to Web Ordering > Menus > Edit a menu
2. Switch to 'Settings' view
3. Enable 'Show in Category List' for both mobile and desktop under 'Categories' section. Save menu
Note: If there is no image configured for the category in the menu then the image of the of the first product in the category is displayed as category image.
4. Enabling 'Show in Item List' option displays the category image in item list page.
5. When default category image is configured, it is used for all the categories in the menu when no image is available for the category instead of using first item image from the category.
