How to Configure Integrated Order Processor

Chewzie provides option for merging table orders before sending them to an integrated POS. This feature allows the integrated venues to use the order merging function available for non-integrated Chewzie venues.

When using integrated venues in background order submission mode and dockets are managed by POS, table orders can be merged or split based on the integrated order processors configuration. This provides the option to control the docket processing at the item level.

To configure the integrated order processor:

1. From the Chewzie Back Office, navigate to 'Integrations' > 'Integrated Order Settings' > Select the integration provider(Doshii, Tyro, Finchcorp etc,.)

2. Click on the integrated location, select the integrated order process to configure the order processor by clicking on the edit icon against the order processor

3. Add the necessary selections for the order processor and click on 'Done' on the integrated order processor pop-up.

4. Assign a fallback printer for the integrated order processor

5. Integrated order processor can be set to Chewzie managed dockets by setting 'Chewzie Mgd' flag to true instead of setting fallback printer. This enables the orders dockets to be processed by Chewzie order processors (Kitchen docket printers and KDS).

7. Setup separate integrated order processor to manage takeaway and delivery dockets without splitting the orders.

6. Click on 'Save Location'

Reminder: Make sure to tag new products properly for food and beverage in your Back Office to ensure seamless merging of orders.

Also, merging feature only applies to table orders as merging of pick up and delivery of orders are not allowed.

You also need to have a default order processor and a fallback printer even if you have a KDS set up.

Note: Integrated orders can be managed from Integrated Order Status page.
