We made some changes to the Chewzie Back Office navigational menu that will be available early 2025.
We are excited to inform you that we have made some updates to the Chewzie Back Office navigation menu to enhance your user experience. All the existing features you rely on are still available, but you may notice that some menu items have been renamed and moved around for better accessibility and organisation.

What's Changed?
Below is a side-by-side comparison of the nav menu changes with the 2024 menu on the left and the 2025 menu on the right.
Service
The "Sales and Operations" menu has been renamed to "Service". This is where all the useful features live to manage front of house trade during service. All the existing functionalities exist. Note that the Sales Journal has moved under the Sales sub-menu and the Reconciliation Report has been added for ease of access to facilitate end of day balancing activities. "Integrated Order Status" is now simply "Integrated Orders".
Chewzie Ordering
The "Web Ordering" menu has been renamed to "Chewzie Ordering". This menu contains all the features that relate to managing the look and feel and behaviour of the consumer facing ordering web app. The menu items have been rearranged into sub-menus; however, all existing functionalities remain.
"App Settings" has been renamed to "Web App", and "Payment Accounts" has been renamed to "Payment Providers".
Docket Management
The "Dockets and Printing" menu has been renamed to "Docket Management". This menu contains all the features to configure kitchen production. The menu items have been rearranged into sub-menus; however, all existing functionalities remain.
Integrations
The "Integrations" menu contains all the setup configuration for POS order and catalogue sync, and Loyalty integration. The menu items have been rearranged into sub-menus; however, all existing functionalities remain.
Common Features
Below is a summary of commonly used features and where to find them:
- Sales Journal to view Sales and perform refunds: Service > Sales Journal
- Item Availability to mark items as Sold Out: Service > Item Availability
- Beacons to register beacon QR codes and change table numbers: Chewzie Ordering > Beacons
- Payout Summary Report to view payouts to the bank: Chewzie Ordering > Stripe Payout Summary. Also available under Reporting.
- Menus to add or remove items from the Chewzie menu: Chewzie Ordering > Menus
